Meet Our 2017 Fellow: Durrie Bouscaren
Durrie Bouscaren Durrie Bouscaren grew up next to the Rocky Mountains, listening to the BBC in the middle of the night six time zones away. She held it down as a one-woman-bureau in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, reported from Ferguson at the height of the crackdown on protestors, and pitched us on a story about sexual assault in Papua New Guinea, one of the most diverse — and most rural — countries in the world. She ships out this winter.
